The AAIDT Ceili workshop and exam will be held on August 17 2008, in conjunction with the Silver Crown Championships on August 16. This workshop will include the practical ceili exam and a ribbon dance workshop. It will also provide an opportunity for teacher candidates to be evaluated and receive credit toward any practical skills on their skills checklists (including solo dances).
A brief discussion will address proper solo dance format for competition. The cost of the workshop is $150.00 for those taking the exam and $75.00 for teachers in attendance. This workshop will apply toward both the ceili exam and teacher license requirements. License candidates who possess a ceili certificate are exempt from taking the ceili portion of the license exam.
